Hi Everyone!
I'm totally new to this blogging thing (well not totally, but this is my first serious blog) and this post is just to tell you a little bit about myself.
Firstly, my full name is not really Lynx but that is what everybody calls me and I have no problem with it! I'm a 19 year old girl, born and bred in South Africa and despite the rumours that you my have heard, this really is a beautiful country and we have the best accents! Don't deny it.
I started at university at the beginning of this year but things went really wrong for me and I was really unhappy and so I won't be going back next year but that doesn't mean I won't ever go back. Next year I'm going to seriously reconsider what it is that I want to do with my life but I'll definitely keep everyone posted.
I got the idea to start this blog after watching make up tutorials on Youtube all day and I realised that not everybody can afford to spend thousands on make up brands like Mac and Bobbi Brown for every day use; so here's my plan:
I'll use the "every day" products that we find in cheaper cosmetics stores and in pharmacies (drugstores for the non-South Africans) and review them and show my favourites and give you all tips that I come across. Every girl needs make up advice at some point in their life!
I did a short course in make up application about three years ago, facilitated by a qualified beautician and learned a lot there; I would highly recommend it to anybody who has the opportunity!

PS I am going on vacation over Christmas but I'll be preparing posts while I'm away and officially start blogging early in 2013. Travel safely if you're going away and have a wonderful festive season!
